Have made my property a No Hunting property. My house has been spotlighted etc. since putting my signs and ring type camera up. This light definitely goes out to 100 feet in a country setting. Must interfere with their night vision. Next door neighbor, a constant violator NOW runs a large red spotlight at night. Just saying that HUNTERS can be angered by this light. added- uses only 6 watts at 120 volts a/c. camera has to be in night vision mode to work. my foscam is switched in the app. just put in auto mode and it switches to night vision when it gets dark enough. last edit-had 20 atv's on road in front of my house on country road Friday night/ it appears that I am violating their privacy with my security system. I live alone so I cancelled my next order

Should have believed the negative reviews. Not only does it not come with a power source but the documentation does not provide the size of the connector the adapter needs. Also, the useful range is no where near the distance the description claims.

I didn’t read the description all the way to every word written. It is said in there somewhere power adapter isn’t included but I feel like it needs to be more obvious or even better it needs to be included. I figured it out, though. But turns out it doesn’t not not put out 30w of light, it does less than 10, for me this doesn’t work…

Light does not come with a power adapter. You will not be able to power it on or use it without purchasing a $10+ power adapter.Save yourself the headache, don’t buy this light, buy another on, and make sure a power adapter is included.

I purchased this IR lamp because it has a 30W power rating. I measured the actual power input and it is 0.47 amps at 12.0V, which is just under 6 watts of power. The build quality seems good but I was looking for a more powerful light.
