My granddaughter has a fascinated with coconuts, so I bought these Maracas for her. They were good except one was loose and the top flew off the moment it was shook. I glued it back on; will see if it holds. If not for that I would have given it a higher rating

Great sound and they look good. Only issue was a loose handle on one, but some epoxy fixed it.

Although the quality of these maracas is a 5 star, they did fall short by being 2 completely different size instruments. Here, size does matter and the sound is generally unbalanced.
