The surface is a key component in creating a consistent ball bounce and preventing warping. The underside consists of a soft EVA foam padding that creates a protective cushion between the billiard table and the conversion top. Recommended for billiard tables up to 8 feet in length. very nice tabletop... fit nice on a 8ft pool table..only a few minutes to install. worth the money.good instructions.

This table is terrific. We bought it to put on our pool table in our game room to have another fun game. It is well made and sturdy and looks very nice. The finish is great and it has a very good surtace to play on. It is level and the foam backing works well to protect the pool table. We used it the first time at Thanksgiving and every one was impressed. We also threw a couple of large table clothes on it and used it as a dining table for our big family and it sat 12 very comfortably. The only negative was how long it took to get here. It was a about two weeks later than first promised.We love the table so that is minor.

Extremely satisfied! Packaging was excellent. No damage upon delivery. Easy to set up and remove from the pool table with two people. Very well built table, and it plays great. The full foam protection is a very nice feature to help protect the pool table. Great family fun, and a wonderful addition to our game room. I was searching for a conversion top for several months, and narrowed it down to the Butterfly/Martin Kilpatrick and the JOOLA; at $271 with taxes, the JOOLA was the best value for a high quality conversion top.
