I had trouble with other pastry blenders which had screws on the side of the handle. They would loosen and the handle would rotate when I used it. This one does not have that problem! It is very sturdy and easy to clean. The blades are sturdy and don't bend easily like others I have used in the past.

The last brand I tried had gotten rusty where they handle attached. After seeing this design I had to have it. It’s perfect! My hand doesn’t slide off the handle the design has a grip.

Unlike other pastry cutters, this one doesn’t bend when pastry gets stuck between the blades. It’s more than sharp enough to do quick work of cutting butter into flour. Very solid-feeling.

The first one i received was damaged - a couple of the metal bars were bent on arrival. The replacement is perfect though, but i expect that if it isn't handled correctly it could bend with use. Comfortable and sturdy (as long as it isn't crushed by something in transit)

Just crushed crackers for breadcrumbs in about three seconds (fine - thirty) with this sucker. It handles cutting butter into flour with ease, too. This thing is seriously solid and comfortable to use. The last tool I used kept bending and took forever - so long my hand would cramp up. This pastry cutter could probably get run over by a semi truck and not bend. It's amazing. If you're on the fence, this little sucker is worth the risk.
