The opener works as described. It’s easy to use and packs away in a drawer with the “wings” down. The handy foil cutter attaches to the bottom of the opener. Although not made of metal, it seems sturdy enough.

I like this style of corkscrew because they are easy for me to use and I have rarely broken a cork. This one is good quality and includes a foil cutter. It’s slightly large, but fits into my utensil drawer just fine. Great price considering the durable materials and ease of use. Recommend.

The design of this corkscrew is the best of the many types I have had. It has none of the inconvenience that others have. I love the ability to just set it on the cork and it self aligns and the screw penetrates the center of the cork and screws in easily. The metal arms come all the way up so you maximize the force exerted on the cork to remove it when you pull on the arms. The hold and rotate method of extracting the cork from the screw for disposable is fantastic as it makes getting rid of the cork easy and safe. The bladed end cap is very sharp and well constructed to easily cut off the metal or plastc wrap on the neck of the bottle. This is a great added convenience.

Foil cutter does the job so easily. Cork screw works easily and smoothly every time with no chance of injury by a slip of a manual 2 step cork screw. Love it!
