Even bought the XS version, I like these so much. Really appreciate ability to add a lanyard when working at height. Super sturdy, easy to use, and self adjusting. If I can only carry one tool for pliers or wrench use, this is it.

I do HVAC and Chiller technician work at a large factory, I carry a set of 7-in ones of these around with me even if I don't have my tool bag. It's almost replaced crescent and small pipe wrenches entirely. Gripping power is phenomenal, smooth Jaws don't mar anything up. Knipex is world class, what's not to love?

This is currently my favorite tool. Working with it for a few days, numerous times it has replaced a ratchet wrench, a C wrench and pliers. Everything about it feels well made. I work as a stage lighting electrician, and in the last week of putting in a new show, this has become my must-have tool.

I am an advocate and advised for decades to use the right tool, to do the job right. This is among the best tools I ever owned. You can go cheap, and admittedly they work, but they don’t last or as precise or accurate. As retired and just a DYI’r now, I still intend to buy and use a tool for years. As a professional it was a livelihood. A serious purchase consideration should include this brand. IMO.

It's a decent tool to have in your arsenal however I don't think the high price is justified. I was excited to get this tool so I don't strip the bolts as I would using the standard channel locks, however it's time consuming to get it set to the exact size of the bolt. If you got cash to blow then I don't see why not get it, otherwise I wouldn't label this as a must have.
