I work in a lab every day. This is an odd lab coat that isn't really suitable for actual lab work, although it may be fine for medical personnel outside of a lab. The reason it isn't the best for the lab is both because it is too short, and because it seems to need another button at the top. Actually, the button part is the worst, since it feels strange with the buttons starting basically at the body of my sternum. I may be able to deal with the length on some days, but I want a button higher up.Honestly, it is hard to pin down how I feel about this coat. I really like the fit and the material, and it is definitely high quality. Unfortunately, the button issue may prevent me from wearing it at work. Maybe it's a cooking gown?

Koi is a high quality, designer scrubs label that I'm very familiar with. This lab coat is made of a polyester stretch twill, so it has a nice medium weight to it (not too flimsy, and not too heavy). The stretch twill has a flattering shape and structure, and the flexibility in the fabric makes it comfortable to wear and move around in. The style is modern and feminine and does not have the standard lapel/collar, so this is an updated take on the traditional lab coat.
