The flux is decent and works well in the way flux does. It's a decent volume of flux and appears value priced. The syringe, on the other hand, could be considerably better. It's just difficult to work with, requiring more force than should be required to get the flux you need.

Great soldering flux. Its easy to use and makes applying the flux a speedy process. The size is a plus too. Solders are durable and the flux is sticky too. Highly functional.

I have the same concerns that others have voiced, the plunger does not fit in the barrel. I don't know why they did this. It makes it very hard to use and you can not pull back to stop the flux. I don't work on these types of electronics and have only got this flux just in case I need it for a few projects I'm doing.

THE GOOD:--------------* Nice quality lead-free soldering flux paste.* 10g syringe packaged with a 10cc syringe for precise dispensing.* Perfect for electronics repair, or if you're new to learning how to solder.THE BAD:-----------* Nothing at all, 5-Stars.

As another reviewer noted the syringe that this paste comes in does leave something to be desired. I didn’t go so far as moving it to a different syringe, but I did find it a bit annoying to use. That said, the flux itself worked well even for an inexperienced user, and it's a nice addition to your soldering toolkit.

It's solder flux. Whatever voodoo it's made of, does the trick. The needle applicator is great for working with SMT components.

I don't have too much experience with different types of flux paste. These in the tube work very well when soldering FCPGA on boards, but also do a good job of prepping the pads on cuttable LED strip lighting which is what I used it for. Getting solder to stick to those little pads can be a challenge. This paste helped me get a nice clean bead on the pads so I could wire through a gap under cabinets. I also had an old USB-C hard drive where the USB-C port had come loose. This did a good job of helping remove the existing port using a heat gun and cleaning up the pads to install a new port. Overall, I'm inexperienced, but happy with the results

Flux works OK, but the delivery system with a plunger that does not stay attached inside the barrel of the syringe is a PITA to work with. I transferred the contents (and the label!) to this 20ml pet feeding syringe from Amazon, as you can see in my pics: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DXP2K87B?th=1Although the tip of the syringe is a bit large, it works well with this flux....and the flux works fairly well too. IMHOMost of the flux sellers on Amazon are using either the same, or similar syringes. If you do any amount of continuous work, you probably find these syringes a PITA to work with when the plunger falls out the back, and if you distribute too much from the syringe, you cannot pull back on the detached barrel to remove excess flux. Same is true if you need to use a lot of pressure to dispense the flux. When done, due to the excess pressure, it dribbles out the end if you cannot pull back on the syringe plunger. Using the pet feeding syringe, you can!
