This review is for the 'Tehoi LED Lights Base - 6 inch Round Lights 13 Colors Brightness Adjustment and Color Changing Mode Charging USB or Battery Powered'. At time of review this light was selling for £24.90I did not really get on with this device and did not find it to be value for money, but your opinion may differ, so my review covers what it does and doesn't do, and why it didn't meet my expectations.This 6 inch display base can be powered by battery or USB. Its got an array of 23 LEDs which can be controlled via a remote, to display one of 13 colours, including two shades of white, and can be set to transition smoothly, harshly, or flash. Brightness can be set to one of 4 levels.It was my opinion that this was missing several features that I would expect in 2025, and also missing some quality of life additions.First, the USB cable was custom, requiring a power jack at the base of the light, not a USB socket. This design had obviously previously used a power brick and had not been updated. Loose the cable and this device can only be ran on batteries.The remote only has basic functions. The worst missing feature in my opinion is the ability to change speed of colour transition - the colour transition is way to quick to be relaxing and so only the static colour modes are of use.The lights are quite harsh, this would have benefitted from a diffuser and also covers to block out the outer rings of lights if not required.In conclusion, I felt this was a rather basic and dated product, not presenting me with value for money or attractive aesthetics. It does function as advertised.

The remote is easy to use to change the colors and settings. The colors are vibrant. I run it using the USB cable and a brick because it only ran about 2 hours on batteries. (The batteries I used were rechargeable, and they were fully charged. I don’t know if regular batteries would have provided a longer runtime.) Since I use this lamp on a regular basis I didn’t want to have to change out batteries daily.

It was great for the hour that it worked. After an hour, it turned itself off. The timer never worked properly but that was ok, the remote worked. Until it didn’t. After about 4 days, I accidentally hit the flash button. It changed it from steady blue to orange seizure mode, and that was the end of the remote. Nothing worked except the on off button on the unit itself. I had purchased 2 of these lights. Both are now stuck on orange flash. Neither remote works. There were no instructions of any kind in the box. They look like they are well made. Too bad they are crap.

Good LED light base that can be used for multiple applications. It can be battery operated with 3 AA (not prrovided) or with USB charging. Comes with a remote to change colors and modes. Base is big enough to house enough lights to brighten a fairly large area.

This is a great light base. It's bright enough to push light up and through an acrylic piece that you want to illuminate. The 6-inch space given is adequate for most items you would want to put on a small display. And anything that will fit on this base will definitely get enough light from it!

This LED light base makes for a pretty spectacular display for crystals, as per my picture. The variety of colors available are great and the LEDs are bright. After a few months, however, I am having issues with either the unit or the remote. Some buttons on the remote may not be working, as I cannot set the light to some solid colors, and cannot select some other settings that previously worked fine. I may try to get a new battery for the remote, but I really haven't used it much. Were it not for this issue I'd be extremely pleased with this product.

When I plugged it in, I wasn't expecting to be nearly blinded! You can reduce the intensity a lot, which I did for my purposes, but if there's something semi-opaque that you want lit, this is strong enough to do so. Very simple controls, immediately responsive to the remote. I wouldn't balance anything larger than itself on it, but otherwise seems quite versatile.

Aa a 69-year-old grandma obsessed with anything color-changing, this Tehoi LED Light Base has me feeling like I'm 5 again, back on my favorite ride (Pirates of the Caribbean, anyone?). Having a sizable collection of Toby jugs, glass statues, and vases, I've purchased several similar light bases before, but THIS one? Oh, this one is the crown jewel.First of all, it arrived through Amazon Vine program faster than my grandkids run to the cookie jar - well-packaged, sturdy, and well-made. I mean, this thing can hold up to 40lbs (yes, I tested it!), so even my heaviest jugs are no match. The 6-inch diameter and 20-foot light diffusion range make it perfect for showing off all my collectibles in a glorious rainbow of colors.And let me tell you about those lights! Thirteen glorious colors at a touch of an included remote control - who needs reality TV when you have this kind of entertainment at your fingertips? Okay, I do! You can change the colors, adjust the brightness, and choose between quick flashes or slow fades. Honestly, I was playing with the settings for an embarrassing amount of time before remembering why I got them. It's so versatile, and with easy to follow instructions, even my tech challenged self mastered it in minutes.My family has been swooning over this thing, and my nieces? Instantly in love. But sorry ladies, Amazon Vine only sends you one, and Grandma's not giving it up - Christmas, however, is around the corner!This base is not only functional but also just plain fun. The price is great for the quality, functionality, and versatility, and it would make a perfect gift for any occasion. So if you're into quality, versatility and a little LED magic, don't hesitate.
