I was actually searching for a small reading lamp for my living room recliner when I came upon this option. It has been almost impossible to read small print in my favorite chair. I would always have to head to the kitchen sink for better lighting. I used the included cable to easily charge the neck light. It didn't take too long for a full charge. There are only 2 buttons to learn, so operation was a breeze. The adjustable light strength is nice, but I always require the highest setting for the fine print. It works flawlessly. So far, I have used it for several hours and have not had to recharge it yet. The construction is quality and should last for some time. The flexibility is great and allows for numerous positionings.

I needed a new book light to clip onto my textbooks and came across this strange concept. This is better than any I've owned! Firstly, most booklights don't have a wide enough clip or are flimsy. You have to keep adjusting the clip if you need to move around in the text. I've seen the kind with the heavier clip that you can clip to your desk, etc., but that limits how you can use it. Such a necessary item if you read or study a lot, yet so annoying! THIS IS GENIUS! Never mind clipping the book, the desk, the headboard etc. The one thing that will always be facing the very page you need to read is your noggin!!! This is lightweight and comfortable with various light settings; it leaves your hands free so you can roam the text or move around and is so flexible that whether you are seated or laying down the light will hold whatever form you bend it into. It is rechargeable and holds a charge for a long time. The strange little light scores big!!!

Since having discovered these neck reading lights I have purchased a few so I can always have one easily available. They are great for reading, but also the best use for me is for knitting. I like this one a lot! It is very light weight and folds down quite small. I thought I would never use the different light "colors", just the brightest, but last night I discovered that one of the other color temperatures worked better for my current lighting conditions. So now I am thinking color temperature choices are a useful feature.Compared to some others, the buttons for on/off and changing color temps are much easier to feel, protruding enough from the surface to find instantly. Also, the light always turns on to my usually preferred color and brightness...guess that is just lucky for me! I highly recommend these neck reading lights in general, and this one in particular.

This neck light allows you to easily direct light where you need it for close-up tasks including reading in bed. It is simple to operate using its 2 switches. The switch on the left is a combination power and light color temperature switch, and the switch on the right controls the brightness. The Micro-USB charging port is located on the bottom side of the neck portion of the unit. The advertised running time for the neck light is 80 hours, but that is at its lowest setting which may or may not be suitable for all tasks. I ran the light at a medium brightness, about half-way between the lowest and highest brightness settings. After about 3 hours the lights began to dim; after about 5 hours they were glowing dimly. I turned the light off for a while, and when I turned it back on, it was a bit brighter than before I shut it off, but I was unable to increase the brightness.

This neck light is very lightweight. When I was researching to buy a neck light, some of the reviewers complain ed about how heavy some of the neck lights were. That is not a problem with this light. One time, I forgot that I was wearing the light around my neck and was looking for the light, - yes it is that lightweight and comfortable to wear. It has light padding at the place where the back of the neck goes.It has two buttons, - one to power it on and change the colors (yellowish white, warm white and white), and the other one is to change the brightness. The brightness has seven different levels, but I found only the first two levels comfortable enough to read books. Both switches work by cycling through all the different levels, so you'll have to press them repeatedly until you get the desired setting. The neck light is bendable so it's very easy to adjust and find the most comfortable way to illuminate objects according to one's needs. This light has a USB (A, not the newer USB C that we see everywhere nowadays) charging port, and it came with a charging cable. However, I used my own charging cable because the charging end that goes into the light, was not easily going into the port. I didn't want to use force, so tried it with my existing cable, and it went in easily.Overall I am very happy with this neck light.
