Hitch sizes are measured using the inside measurement of the hitch receiver opening. The SHP2040-XXL is made to fit most 3in hitches. Some newer hitches have thick outside walls so we also recommend confirming the outside width of the receiver hitch wall is less than 106mm to fully confirm fit.

Our 2023 sequoia, new model year, has a bulky hitch receiver and traditional hitch stabilizers will not fit. This was the only item I could find to properly stabilize the hitch connection. I did have to modify the include shank a bit to fit properly, but works great now.

Disappointed…had to return since it didn’t fit our larger hitch.It’s also a very tight fit for a 2” box so ya gotta make sure of what you’ve got.
