A lot of leotards are very rigid and don’t have very much flexibility. My daughter is quickly choosing this over her others due to the stretch to them. She says they don’t feel as tight and are more comfortable. Not great for her competitions but fantastic for day to day use.

A note though they are small to size - I bought an 8 for a just 6 year old who is normally true to size and we may get six months out of it. keeping that in mind it is a beautiful quality product,
