This is a gift for a friend who regularly makes sourdough breads. I thought that perhaps if I gifted them these bags that I just may get a loaf of homemade bread - we will see. I love that they are vintage looking and really are nice solid bags. The decorative bread drawings on the exterior are really pretty. If you’re going to go through the trouble of making your own breads - Do yourself a favor and get these. They will present and preserve your breads in vintage fashion.

The bags are exactly how they are shown, but I find it a little small for what I planned them to be. I was expecting a cloth bag to keed the bread still warm in it, but the plastic inside would not make it to work. I wish there wasn't the plastic inside. I may try to take it out. It doesn't fit nore than 2 loafs of homemade bread. Other than that, I recommend them.

I absolutely love these bread bags! They’ve become my go-to for storing my homemade bread and sourdough. The linen material feels high-quality, and the PEVA lining really helps keep the bread fresh without it getting soggy. I love how much longer my bread stays soft and delicious compared to using plastic bags.The bags are the perfect size for most loaves and work great for proofing dough too. I also appreciate how eco-friendly they are—no more plastic bags for me! Plus, they’re super durable, and the stitching seems like it’ll hold up well over time.They add a little touch of elegance to my kitchen, too, and they’re easy to clean. Toss them in the washing machine, and they’re good to go! If you bake a lot of bread, these bags are a must-have!

Linen Reusable Bread Bags shrank while just doing a quick hand wash and it wasn't even with hot water but it did stretch once dry again and when stuffed with bread. I was a little surprised by the plastic lining but it does make sense. It just so happened I made sourdough bread the day it arrived so I washed and then quickly dried in the sun (wasn't too sure if it would be safe in the dryer, the plastic inner lining and no information came with the bags.) My double batch bread leftovers fit nicely. It has kept the bread a lot better than my paper bag usage and plastic bag usage. I do not know if I would want to proof using the bag since the opening is a bit small and my bread tends to be sticky and it seems like it would be more trouble but for storing bread, it is a win.

I ordered these bread bags as we buy French and sourdough loaves every week from a local baker, along with a variety of other fresh baked goods. I thought this would be something nice to keep my bread in.I love the look and simplicity of these bags. Made of a nice heavier linen, They are lined with an eco friendly lining and are washable. They are a great size at 15”x12” and hold a lot. I really like that there is a drawstring across the top which keeps everything inside sealed.I did find that the breads, once cut, did not stay as fresh as if I had put them into a ziplock type of bag, and therefore I now use the bags for when I go shopping and still use them to put my purchased bread in but store in a ziplock inside the bag. I also use it at the Farmer’s Market when I am buying fresh produce as the PEVA liner keeps the inside of the bag clean. These worked out to $8.50 a bag, which I thought was very reasonable for a lined linen bag.

These bags are great. Lined inside to keep in bread moisture. Very attractive and nice looking. Wash well. I hang to dry. The drawstring is OK, it doesn't pull as tightly closed as I would like. My main issue is they're a bit small; the width is good but they need to be slightly longer for most breads IMO.
