It's lightweight and I was able to slide it into a side pocket in my pack. It takes up almost no room at all.

This was the size I wanted, more or less, but it wasn't the model in the pictures or the description. The one I wanted was held together with a pin. The one I received is held together with slotted tabs, which is much more difficult to assemble...

Very happy with this little stove. For all the reviews that say the hinges aren’t square, it’s only because they are folding it inside out. If you keep the Lixada label on the outside it works just fine. I tried it with sticks, with solid fuel tabs in the dish provided, and with an alcohol stove, and all worked amazingly well and boiled 16 oz. of water in around 8 to 10 minutes. This stove is very versatile and packs down really small. You can’t go wrong for $7 bucks!

These work well with small fuel cubes that also fit into my go bag.

A little thinner on the walls than it should be, but yes it's very low weight and packable.Okay for going out into the bush with your buddies every few months. Won't withstand routine use.

I purchased this little wood stove to be able to do little fires in a city context. Great at the park, in the backyard or even on your balcony. Beware of flying coals/ash if you are located in a dry area - but in a well controlled environment, it is a cool little gadget to have. All you need is to walk around in any neighborhood with mature trees and you can pick small twigs, branches and dry bits (pine cones, etc.). Plan to constantly feed your stove as it is small, so even with a bed of coals, you still need to feed it, else it dies rapidly! But honestly, with a stove that big, it's part of the fun. You could boil water on it, but I doubt you could actually really cook. Beware there is no cross-bar on top, so make sure your container is larger than the opening and it's stable.Else, it's a small item to pack in your backpack and can be fun to use!

great simple/cheap stove that really can focus heat from bio fuel when a simple campfire couldn't. folds down nice and small and is reasonably light. If loaded well it can last a while and provide a lot of heat. It really needs a grill or some kind of supports on top to be full effective with all sizes of cookware. The alcohol tray is basic but nice addition to this variant. There are a number of variations of this design on amazon, though none with all the parts i'd want in one package.

Great little emergency stove. Very easy to setup and use with multiple fuels that can be used. Kind of small but will do the job when you need heat. Also, comes with a decent carry bag and is easily stored since it is very compact when disassembled.

Saw in other reviews that the bottom didn't fit without bending the stove together. Also noticed in the picture with the wood fire, that particular stove assembled like the bushbox does without any hinges. The other pictures show hinges. The original version was apparently square, and switching to hinges racked the angles. They either didn't put the hinges in the right place or change the base plate to match. Some dingbat in charge couldn't add.So, I took out the dremel, ground down across a diagonal and tapered to match. Fits like a glove now, but looks more like a firebox than a bushbox. I also pinched the ends of the hinges a little, looked like a pin could fall out.The bowl is a tad big, but it fits. The bent lip goes opposite of the door. Leave the base plate off.Had deep suspicions about the bowl as an alcohol burner, so I tested it. First I tried half an ounce, and guess what. It actually kind of works. The flame, however, could easily get blown out by a moderate breeze. A little bump could spill burning fuel all over. It's just not practical or safe in real life situations. Besides, it's just about perfect for Esbit tabs or something similar.A Trangia fits in nicely, even through the top. Also, there is enough room to use the simmer ring in a few positions, but it does not fit through the door with the burner inside. Keep leather gloves and needle nose pliers handy.September 20:After modifying the base plate and using this with wood, esbit tabs, trangia, and charcoal starters; I can confidently say that this is an effective combo fuel stove base. It needs a little grinding to take the base plate out of square for it to work at it's best. Don't try to assemble it with both the bowl and base plate at the same time, no need. Put the bent lip of the bowl against the back of the stove, that's the way it's supposed to fit.Included some pics to highlight assembly options and show the out of square base plate.

Docooler delivers once again. Out of the 7 items ordered this one arrived first. The items from down the street hadn't been shipped yet. This is the second time I've ordered from them and both times they've delivered quickly. As for the stove I received it was just as advertised. I read many of the reviews some complained about fit. I found that it was made well and after putting it together a few times I had figured out how the pieces went together. The fit was tight and it did not warp after burning a fire in it for 30 minutes. The alcohol pan that came with it does present a challenge . The slots in the sides work well but it could use one in the front or back. That pan also works well for an ash catcher and help prevent ground fires.

Fantastic little stove! There's no complicated assembly and it's only 3 pieces... only two of which are necessary at any given time. It's relatively sturdy.Be aware that if you put it together inside out, the baseplate won't fit because the stove won't be square. Just make sure the hinges are on the outside all the way around and everything should be alright. I did have to take a dremel to mine to get the bowl to fit correctly, but I understand most people don't have to do that. The stove works great with twigs, esbit, or a trangia stove. The bowl can act as an ash pan beneath the fire grate, as a container for alcohol or gel fuel, or as a fuel plate for esbit or other solid fuels. You can also flip the bowl upside down to get the esbit tablets closer to your pot. It's very easy to assemble and is the perfect size for a mug or canteen cup. It's an excellent addition to a personal survival kit or bugout bag.

A fantastic piece of kit and at a price well below others! The negative is that the plate at the bottom is cut a little too big for the box but it does work fine. The bowl for the alcohol burner does not fit either but works great as a catch pan for wood spilling out of the opening. This is an awesome deal and I am so glad I purchased it. I have a review on YouTube for it, look up my channel Patrick Randolph and you can watch it. If you want one of these but dont want to pay the outrageous seeming price of more name brands I highly recommended getting this one.
