These worked great when we got to watch the solar eclipse here in Ohio. What an awesome sight to behold with the help of these glasses, which we passed out to friends and family. Thank you!

Protected my eyes during the 2024 solar eclipse on the east coast. Really cool to actually view the eclipse occur in real time with your own eyes.

Serves it's purpose. Easy to rip as it's made of a lightweight cheap material, but it is versatile enough. Use it once and throw it away. Fits on my the eyes of everyone in my family, so that should not be a concern. Fine with the comfortability, and it's worth the money if you're looking to see a solar eclipse.

Protection from eye damage is essential for watching an eclipse. These glasses are made by a company which makes other solar stuff like telescopes, so I know it is using quality materials. Some other companies may make solar glasses that really don't do the job. Look for ISO and CE certified. And preferably choose a known brand, like this.I recommend teaching children to use them properly well before viewing an eclipse. Look down, put on the glasses, then look up. Holding the arms of the glasses to your head is also a good idea. When you are done, look down and take them off. Also, each time before using them to view the sun, hold them up to the sky, not the sun, and look for damage such as thin areas or pinholes. These are good quality and I have used them to view the sun whether or not there is an eclipse. When there are large sunspots on its surface, sometimes they can be viewed using protective lenses alone, without a scope. One additional note- If you have glasses over 3 years old, it may be best to get new ones. I have just read in Astronomy Magazine April 2024 issue, that the protective coating deteriorates with age and the glasses should be replaced to make sure you are getting full protection. (No financial interest.)

These are not something you would want to wear for long. They are made for one purpose which is viewing the sun without damaging one's eyes. For this purpose they work well. While they are not built for comfort, they are okay. One may want to pull them in tighter anyway to stop some of the light leakage around the tip and sides. The flexibility allows for that. While they are disposable, if taken care of, they are likely usable for more than one event. Given that there is a total eclipse coming up on April 8, 2024, we will be prepared since we already have these. There are enough in this pack to pass some out which is what I did. All in all, they are a good value when compared with some of the other options. Plus they were able to be shipped and arrived in time. Some other options would not have shown up until well after the fact.

I bought 2 packs of 10 of these for the annular solar eclipse to give to family and neighbors and did get the full 20 pieces, but unfortunately we were (mostly) clouded out for the entire event. I did have about 60 seconds of "clear-ish" skies and my spouse and I both grabbed a set of these and ran outside to see the Sun being partially eclipsed by the Moon, and the quality looked great to me (I have several telescopes with solar filters too).So these worked great and I have a Lunt solar telescope too, so I have full confidence they are good quality for eye protection, and the image looked orange and clear. I have even put one section of these over my cell phone camera lens and with a full zoom been able to take adequate photos of the Sun.From a quality perspective, they are very good and I would recommend these for the April 2024 total solar eclipse.

These solar glasses were not just a tool for eclipse viewing; they became a part of our unforgettable experience. We marveled at the eclipse together, and these glasses made the moment even more special. The combination of comfort, safety, and ease of use allowed us to immerse ourselves in the celestial event fully. It’s a memory we’ll cherish for years to come, thanks in no small part to these remarkable glasses. These solar glasses were of exceptional quality, surpassing our expectations. Their extremely dark lenses provided the utmost eye protection during the eclipse, ensuring our safety. What truly stood out was the clever design, with adjustable spots for various face sizes and the comfortable, non-sharp edges that made them a pleasure to wear. While the frames had a solar pattern, which added a unique touch, it was the lenses that truly shone, safeguarding our eyes as we marveled at the solar eclipse. These glasses were also incredibly easy to use, making the entire experience hassle-free. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to view the eclipse.
