Mad Rock's Mad Pad has been revamped for 2024 from polyester to recycled polyester to reduce our impact on the environment. The quality of the pad has remained constant, and the value proposition remains high.
The Mad Pad also features removable, adjustable, plus backpack straps for a comfortable and secure fit and carry. More loop strips allow the pads to be connected to each other and configured for maximum coverage of the fall-zone, perfect for those more awkward landing spots.
Each new 2024 Mad Pad also comes with a detachable (16" x 12" x 0.25") Madgic Carpet slide-in pad, perfect for cleaning your shoes off at the base of the climb or just for sitting on.

Taking a break? The Mad Pad is reconfigurable to a cozy love seat. Set it around a campfire, at a rest on approach, just don't chill under the climb! Set up is simple, just move the straps to the loops on the other side of the closure straps and lean back.
All Mad Pads have a hook and loop strips around the outer edges to connect more pads together, transforming a few pads into a mega-pad-gestalt. Perfect for those occasions where you need ultimate pad coverage and making sure there's no holes in the set up.
