I like the ease and how quick it baked. I am not sure what I am doing wrong I keep adjusting the cooking time and it either not done enough or one side gets burned

I brought this back in Jan and unfortunately for me I'm just taking it out the box (march) with plans that me and mom would make a little dessert during my visit home. Right out the box the machine seems used!! It has scratches all over and bent and peeling screws. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED with recieving what appears to be a used product. Unfortunately the return date has expired. When I buy a new appliance I expect to get a new not USED one

For the several months that the non-stick coating was effective I made good cakes. After ten or so uses the cakes no longer released. I can't open the lid without the cake breaking in half. This isn't worth the effort for broken crumbled pieces of cake and complicated cleanups. It's going in the trash. The unit also does not remain in the flipped position without a plate rested on top.

I purchased this as a gift for my daughter... She love it. She has made us a cake a day and sometimes more. It is quick, convenient and gets the job done. What a great idea. I will possibly buy myself one in the future.

I only used this once so far but really like it. Let me start by saying that I do not like to heat up the house in the summer by using my oven. So, I saw this and decided that it would be ideal and it is! My kitchen did not heat up at all. I used butter pecan cake mix and filled it really full both times. One box cake mix make 2 little cakes. These little cakes are so so cute! As it says they are 6" when finished. My hubby enjoyed them and they bake much quicker then in the oven. I thought I might make a 2-layer cake out of them but I would have to slice some cake off to make it sit flat on each other so I did not bother. I also believe that if you want cake in a hurry, this is great for that! I am happy that I got it and I think most people would too!

I tried to use it 3 times. I used a recipe from their booklet. The cake was under done to the point of being runny. I tried again cooking longer. Still raw in the center. The last time I baked it longer still. The outside was burned black and the center was still raw. I really wanted to love it but it was just not a good unit.

I'm having a blast with this. There's a retirement 'village' off behind us that a lot of friends live seasonally. I've been making them little 'welcome back' and 'see you next summer' cakes. Since it's usually retired couples, a mini cake is perfect size, and all have expressed delight at getting one.I've made at least 20 or so, so far, and am having no performance* issues at all. When done they still slide right out. It still heats up quickly. Cleaning is as easy as wiping with a sponge. I did have a few dribbles while I was learning it, but again, easy clean up.It makes 2 cakes per boxed mix, but I've started making them from scratch because sometimes I only need 1 at a time so I kept eating the 2nd ones.I took -1 star off because even when doing everything the same each time, every once in a while I get one that cooks unevenly. *I'm not sure if it's a performance issue or just a potential quirk inherent in the technique.

Such fun! I used box cake mixes. The first use, I used an out dated box of cake mix leaving out the eggs to get the pans seasoned and get rid of any residue from manufacturing. It worked well, you could smell the residue. I baked two cakes with this mix. Then used a box mix. This makes two cakes with batter left over. Made two cakes and they turned out delicious. Baked them for 12 minutes each. I oiled the pans for the first seasoning run but did not need to oil after that and they released with no trouble. Cake is the perfect size for one to four people, one serving each!
