In the interest of full disclosure, I ordered these...and looked at them...but have never used them. I just got them in case I decided to go see the last eclipse that was happening.I've heard there are a lot of dangerous knock-offs that seem like they'll work but won't actually block the invisible harmful rays the sun emits, but the are ISO certified...which I was told to look for. I suppose I could look at the sun with them to really see if they would work, but I don't know if that would prove anything since I probably would attempt to tan my retinas. They seem as dark as welders goggles—good enough for me.

Use it to save your eyes from the solar eclipse! Works great as intended.

These were great and was able to see the solar eclipse. Issue is not sure if it protected my eye enough, as my eye were irritable after the eclipse and had to go to my eye doctor to make sure. My eyes were fine, but it was sensitive to light for a good couple days. Had to put in eyedrops during those times. Eye doctor advised not to see the sun / solar eclipse anymore even with the solar glasses.
