The main function of heat retention is definitely there. The material feels like a thick plastic coating, sort of like a tarp on the inner portion of the shirt.It's a nice shirt. The tarp like lining is so lightweight so it is not heavy but it helps create the sweat effect even indoors.It washes very well. I wash it with my normal items even on harsh settings and it works nicely.

ok so... I got it on, and used it, but I could not get out of it. I sweat more trying to escape this thing, I had to get my daughter to help peel me out of it. It definitely made me sweat, and in the sauna it was great, I never gave it much thought about how I was going to escape this thing, it's like a Chinese finger trap, you can get it on, but you're never getting it off. Order something a little bigger than you think you need or you too may play your own version of the hunger games trying to escape this thing! If I haven't painted an accurate picture for you yet, imagine a fat guy getting into a pair of tight leather pants, sit in a sauna for a while and well... you're not getting it off without some help, or a veggie peeler :P

Well stiched, and side seems tailored to not pucker the fabric so it can lay flat so you don't feel it. It doesn't roll up when moving around. Compared to other sauna suits, it does what it claims makes you sweat just as much as other brands I've had and its same thickness so no complaints here.

Ordered this shirt to help with the burn when working out.The shirt is extremely well made, feels slightly rubbery.All seams are stitched very well, lays smooth, no loose threads, and there are no friction points.The effect could be felt as soon as it was put on.Do read the cleaning instructions well, as it cannot be cleaned like regular clothing.Overall very happy with this effective Sauna Shirt.

Works very well not sure if I should've sized up on this but I do need help getting out of it after a good work out session. I work out for a few hours in the morning so once I'm up I put this on and take it off by early afternoon. Quality material and good price.

I'm 5' 10", weigh 220 lbs currently, and this wasn't for me. I admittedly have wide shoulders, but I've never worn something that's supposedly a 2X that couldn't get past my shoulders. The width of it is so... slender, you'd think this was a woman's product.I understand it's a sweat vest and needs to be tight, but maybe make it so humans can actually put the thing on?

I'm disappointed, I thought it was made of better materials and it soft & flexible, it's not. It says it's easy to put on and off, it's a nightmare to put on and worse to take off while wet, stick to your body and does not stretch at all. It should have one side open with some velcro or zippers. On top of that, the pictures in the package are deceiving, I don't believe those perfect gym body actors did use this shirt to get in shape. Also, comes in the mail with no discrete box, full pictures, i did not appreciate that either. Three stars because it does make you sweat more and trap heat, but never to sauna level and it's easier to put on / take off the next days.
