These shoes are really comfortable and seem to be holding up pretty nicely after about a month and a half of almost daily use. The sole is fairly slip resistant and the fit is spot on. The product info says these are restaurant shoes, which they definitely are not. The upper is far too porous so things like hot oil or other liquids would permeate way too easily, leading to all kinds of problems, like burns if the liquid is hot, or just bad odors if the liquid soaks in and starts to spoil. Both of those are not good in a commercial kitchen. Proper kitchen shoes need to protect against those. So yeah, these aren't really very waterproof or oil-proof, but they're still really nice shoes and I use them almost every day for other cooking related tasks, like shopping and delivery. And for well under 50 bucks, these are a great value. Overall, I think these are great shoes, but maybe think twice before using them in the kitchen.

We live in a place that, for about half the year, turns into a slimy mudhole. And this isn't normal mud - Remember a couple of years ago when it rained at Burning Man, and the mud became pernicious and inescapable without the aid of a great deal of water and washing? That's pretty much how this stuff is. Where most mud will fall off after a little walking, this sticks, even after it dries. Scraping only goes so far, and washing is usually required.This becomes a problem if you are an extremely active and energetic 13 year old who wants to explore the wide world at all times of year. This situation has rendered my son chronically short on footwear, as he often has multiple pairs of muddy shoes sitting by the back door waiting for a wash. And of course, with the mud being so slippery, that is always a concern as well.As he needed a new pair of shoes, I decided to try these ones. The first test was passed quite nicely; my boy is very sensitive to foot discomfort, and has set aside pairs entirely in the past if they rubbed him the wrong way. He found these to be very comfortable and true to size.He has worn them outside and hasn't had any issues with slipping. They also seem to be easier to wash off than most of his other ones, which is a great bonus. He's been wearing this exclusively for a couple of weeks and has been very happy with them. I'm thinking about getting a pair for myself. They aren't flashy, but seem to be quite well made.

These are not bad shoes, with a heavier, slip-resistant sole, and a nice breathable upper material. However, despite the item description, shoe box, and bright yellow band around the toes of the shoes boldly proclaiming "Steel toe cap/Kevlar", there are NO toe caps of any type installed on these shoes. Nothing protecting your feet but soft nylon/PU material. Hard to imagine what could have happened, maybe there was a late shipment of toe caps at the Dinggu factory?

I’ve been wearing these non-slip work shoes at the gym where I work for a week now, and they’ve made a noticeable difference during my shifts. These are pretty nice shoes. They are well made and are not junk. I liked the way they look and how they were constructed.Thoughts- As I said, nicely made, seem robust, look nice- They are too tight. I got my normal size, but the shoes close down in the front and are too tight. Wish I had gotten a .5 size larger.- While they say they are "work" shoes, I could see wearing them for almost anything that black shoes fit.I wish they fit since I would wear these to work and also casual (not sports but casual) events.

Working in a kitchen means spending long hours on your feet on floors that can get wet and greasy. I needed a pair of work shoes that were truly slip-resistant and comfortable, and these DINGGU shoes seemed like a good option. I got them in black, size 11.5.The slip resistance is the most important thing for me, and these definitely deliver. The soles grip really well on wet and oily surfaces, giving me confidence moving around quickly without worrying about slipping. That alone is worth it. Beyond the grip, they're surprisingly comfortable right out of the box. They have decent cushioning, and my feet don't feel as fatigued at the end of a long shift as they used to with my old shoes.They're easy to wipe clean, which is essential in a food service environment. While they're not exactly stylish (work shoes rarely are!), they look professional enough for a kitchen setting. If you work in a restaurant, food service, or anywhere with potentially slippery floors and need comfortable, reliable, non-slip shoes, these are a solid choice. My feet and back are thanking me already.

These are comfortable shoes that have worked well for me in a casual-dress work environment. The main feature that I like is that they are all-black! They are inconspicuous with black golf pants and a black polo shirt.The insoles has unusual dime-sized bumps across them that provide some added cushion.The fit works for me with a bit of extra length in the toe area that contributes to a feel of roominess. The cushioning in the heel area is adequate without creating the super-cushy feeling that some walking shoes provide. The outer sole provides secure grip for a secure feel.The black mess material of the top is my only area of complaint - stuff gets in the cracks and is hard to get out with a shoe brush. It takes something stiffer like a dish brush. Regular brushing is required. I can only imagine how much harder it would be to keep these shoes clean working in food service...I can live with these happily for work applications!
