Using this a bit off-label—on a turntable, not a washing machine—and it’s worked wonders. We’ve got floorboards, and even the lightest step used to make the needle jump. With these installed, it’s smoothed out playback dramatically, leaving only the worst skips to deal with.Definitely not the intended use, but they’ve made a huge difference. In fact, I’m now tempted to get another set for the actual washing machine!

Once fitted, these are brilliant. I often set the "delay end" function on my washing machine to align within 30 minutes or so of waking up, but the spin cycle vibrates through my studio apartment quite vigorously and often wakes me up earlier. With these under the machines feet, the vibrations are much subdued and sleep is uninterrupted (except by my dog).Getting these on the machine, which is inside a designated slot, proved more difficult. I pulled the machine out, put the feet on and then couldn't slide it back in. The short and curse word free version of events, is I had to fit the back feet on and wiggle the machine into place with furniture sliders on the front feet - this still proved difficult, but easier than just pushing rubber on tiles. Once in place, I added the front feet and the machine was stable.As for the price, it's up there. The good news is they work, so it's not a waste of money, but they're an accessory for white goods - of course they're expensive. Imagine if they were OEM - easily double the price.

If these pads are silicon I would be surprised as they are really firm/hard like hard rubber. The advantage silicon has over rubber is that it can be softer while still being tough and for a vibration absorbing item it is probably ideal; these pads are so hard that unless the object being supported is really heavy like an industrial machine then I think they are of limited value. On lighter objects like washers/dryers/fridges I don't think there is really enough give in them to be really effective. Certainly on my washing machine I used them on it walks around more than before. They do look well made and will no doubt last a long time and the inclusion of the leveling tool is a nice addition but for the high price being asked I think this is more of an industrial item than a household one.
