This is a cute tiny little book lit from within, that turns on when you open it, then off when you close it. It charges quickly and holds the charge well. The only issue I had with it, which is why it didn't get 4-5 stars, was that the binding was incredibly stiff and it wouldn't stay open on its own. I closes itself almost immediately after you open it, and no matter how much I try to soften the spine it still pulls itself shut.

What a nice addition to anyone's decor, especially for those folks out there that like to read. It adds some light from a soft yellowish color to a brighter light to read by and to add some ambience to your room. I like that I can have it lying flat like an opened book, or open it up to 360 degrees and have it look like a lighted lamp shade. There is a magnet to keep it in the 360 degree open position. As this night light is rechargeable, there is no cord to worry about or where to place it. Just plug it in when the battery runs low and charge it back up. The run-time is about four to six hours. Anyone can appreciate this useful lamp book to add some ambience or to use it as a lamp to read by.Â

Looks like a normal book until you open it and then the fascination starts. Grandkids love it, and SURPRISE, even their parents love it. I feel it's very high quality and has a number of uses.

I am quite impressed with this little light, as I have a passion for books. It looks like a little book, and when you open it up, the pages form the accordian light you see in the picture. This makes a great gift for myself, but it would serve equally well for the book-lover in your life.It's simple to charge up, and it makes a great bedside light. It probably won't offer the type of illumination you want when reading in bed, as it's not really a "reading" light with a lot of power. Rather, it's more of a mood lighting unit and a conversation piece. Still, it looks super cool if you are into books.I'm happy with this product.
