This is really not blue. I would definitely call it purple!!! Have had many compliments on it. It is nice and warmer than I expected. I would give it a 5 star but all the pull tabs on the zippers have fallen off in just 2 washes.

I absolutely love this jacket and the waffle pattern inside. It provides the perfect mid layer warmth for chilly day. It is a hiker/climber cut which means it is slimmer in the body and not boxy at all and the sleeves are long, as they should be. If you are wearing this under an outer layer it is cut exactly as it should be. If this is your outer layer, it will be slim fit.I used this as a mid layer and sometimes outer layer all over Scotland. It is not wind resistant as an outer layer but is perfect if you need just a little warmth. Packs up relatively small and was easy to stow in my backpack on flights. It will be my mid layer for skiing this winter.

This is purple - to call it blue is completely wrong. 100% purple. As purple as grape juice.

There is no draw cord at the waist of this garment, the hood is the size of an adolescents head, and the thumb holes in the sleeves are awkwardly located closer to the center of the palm than the thumbs themselves. I’ve worn a mountain hardware base layer for years, and this just doesn’t measure up to the quality I have come to expect from this brand.

Definitely like this full zip hoodie. Very packable light weight and warm, don't let the thickness fool you as far as warmth.
