I'm a ham radio operator. I use these cables for MOBILE installs. They are "just the right size" and "super flexible"... and they don't need to be LMR400 for a mobile install (not long enough to notice any drop in signal)High quality cable. Works fantastic. Never had any trouble. Easy to rout in tight spaces.I have nothing but good things to say!

All my ham radio cables, inside and out, are LMR assembled by MPD Digital for the jumpers and by me for the long outdoor runs. They do a great job. Some are sold here, but for all types and sizes of cables and various connecters, MPD has an absolutely excellent custom cable maker online.I haven't found anything better that this.

Bought this knowing there were cheaper options ( like I'd purchased before ) and by comparison, this cabling is completely different from the mass produced cheap stuff. The end terminations are all soldered and compression fit, with glue type shrink tubing to weather seal the back of the UHF connections. The cable itself is a much higher quality and lower loss than cheaper RG58-X or RG8-X. What I really found helpful is that this cable is much higher current carrying, with better shielding, while remaining very flexible. I have installed this item in my Jeep and replaced RG58-U cable connecting a HAM radio under the drivers seat, to a dual band antenna at the back of the vehicle. Prior loss was nearly 10 watts over 18 feet. With LMR240, loss was less than 2 watts for the same distance. NICE. - Bolt

So many coax cables here are copper clad aluminum which is a poor choice. It's really well done and a quality cable for sure... The coax is the lifeline of your radio, so don't cheap out even though you figure what's the difference. It tests well when put on the meter, you won't be disappointed.
