This replaced one of the older style napkin holders that held the napkins upright by pinching them. This one takes up a little more table space, but it works SO much better!For one thing, it holds way more napkins. It seemed like we were refilling the old one every couple of days. That was a pain, because it took some finagling to get them in straight. With this one, you just grab a stack and put them in. No hassle. Also, the other one would start messing up when it was down to just a few. This one works right from overfilled to the very last napkin. Its weight and stability keep it from falling over during a 1-handed napkin swipe. Try that with the old kind!I recommend this if you have the table space. I do prefer the looks of the upright ones, but I've realized all those little annoyances in life add up. I'd much rather have something that makes my daily life 0.0001% easier than something that looks a little prettier but is mildly irritating to use. It feels sturdy and there's little that could break, so I think it's a good purchase.

idk why but i love this little thing! works how its intended and brings me joy as the last one i had drove me nuts! so easy to refill! looks pretty on my table too no weird napkins hanging out of the holder anymore!

Not much to be said about it, it does what it is supposed to. Holds napkins very well and keeps them organized but still allows to easily remove them.

I like the drop down arm that keeps the napkins in place. It holds a good amount of napkins and looks nice on the table.

I bought this napkin holder for my screened patio and was tired of going in the house every time I needed a napkin. Especially since I have them outside and it sometimes gets windy, I love the bar that holds the napkins in place so they don’t blow around. I am extremely impressed with the quality. It is made of a VERY thick metal and it is SO well made. I bought it in a bold black so it will match with any color. Not only is it very functional, it is also very pretty. I highly, highly recommend! The size is perfect for regular sized napkins.

Where has this napkin holder been all my life. You just pinch the lever that holds the napkins in place and it comes right off. I do not need the holder because it never leaves my kitchen for any outdoor activity. It is just perfect. The right size for Costco's napkins in bulk. Simply beautiful. I love everything about this holder. When I need a napkin I just pick it up. I use to have the slotted kind and when the napkins got low they would bunch up at the bottom. Very well made.
