Just put this up yesterday. The Neptune dual shower head configuration is made of quality metal. The shower heads themselves are plastic which is ok with me. They do not put out as much as you would need for a good shower. The range of motion between the two heads is very small and limited. I bought a 10in extension arm, the same time I bought this and put the extender arm on one side to lift the one shower head up and out to improve the range. Now we can shower together without bumping heads and elbows. We did end up putting our old shower heads on this as the flow was a pitiful arc coming out. I read that a lot of people took out the pink or black rubber thing from the inside, but we didn't play with it that much. I'm going to put one of the heads in our spare bath and see if the flow is good enough when just using one head. We are happy with it, regardless.

This thing rules but, I will get the shut off valve so we can turn one head off when we don't need or want it. Now it takes allot of water to get the full effect. At first it drizzled out so I pulled the restrictive discs with some needle nose pliers. That helped big time but still not quite what I had hoped for as far as pressure so I turned my on demand water heater from 120 to 140, Now it rocks, I like hot showers and ran it full hot while it was set at 120. Now, I mix hot and cold to get it right and have tons of pressure and find myself putting both heads on massage and standing there for 30 to 40 min at a time. In fact, I find my self running late to work on most mornings only because I cant get out. If you have small kids I would not turn up the water heater but for the full effect you need full pressure! also if you live in the desert or California and pay lots for water or have a small water heater you may not want to go my route. But here in Alaska where water just falls from the sky and my heater is on demand, it is like a spa day every day and I will never go back! In fact I am going to take another shower right now!

I bought two sets of these, one for my master bath and one for the guest bathroom. These do flow 2.5 gpm each so you are getting twice as much water flow as you normally would, which is awesome. The bad side is that you'll run out of hot water twice as fast, so you may find that you need to beef up your water heater. I had to install new elements and thermostats and now I'm good to go.One thing I noticed is that the shower head doesn't seem to have as much pressure as some older models I had purchased years ago. I got to looking inside one of the heads and there is a pink strainer device installed that simply limits water flow to the head. If you take the collar off of the head (small Allen head screw holds it in place), you can actually bust the pink strainer loose and get much better pressure at the expense of using a little more water. The head goes from a nice stream to something closer to standing a few feet in front of a power washer, it will literally blow loose hair off of your head (or wherever else you might have it). It's like a million midgets massaging your skin with their tiny little fingers - in other words, awesome. Ladies, imagine the possibilities if you could angle these things just right. The shower heads are good, get them if you can supply enough hot water to them.

When it arrived a piece was broken off the end of the shower head holder. Not very well made. Returned it of course.

Some feedback on this shower head that might help someone. Mine came completely disassembled, meaning I had to install the shower heads to the straight bar. Not a big deal. Make sure to use the included Teflon tape wrapping it clockwise around the threads at least 3 times. If you wrap it counter-clockwise you run the risk of it coming unraveled as you tighten the shower head on it (right tighty, lefty loosy). One pass of teflon tape isn't enough to provide a good seal, don't be stingy with it. You will find that the water-flow restrcitors are in place (as law dictates) but can be removed with a Phillips screwdriver. It also comes with rubber washers (with a screen through them). I ended up removing the flow restrictors and just using the rubber washer. After showering with this a few times, I decided it was TOO much water. Our 40 gallon water heater could only supply enough hot water for one 8-10 minute shower. I ended up just using one head without the flow-restrictor and it's still much better than our old shower head with the a non-removable restrictor. My advice is to either keep the restrictors in or use one head without the restrictor. Overall I'm very happy with this product.

The unit itself seems to be made a little better quality than comparable ones I've had in the past, but the radius of each shower head is smaller... so it's not working out having 2 people shower at the same time very well. The water pressure for both heads is mediocre, as I somewhat expected without removing the O-ring water saver. If you are a solo shower person and just want 2 heads, this will probably work out OK. However, I would not recommend this for 2 person showering.

I love this shower head! Our old one had a plastic base that screwed onto the spigot and needless to say, plastic gets old and cracks. I had to find a new double shower head in a pinch and this one really did the job. It was affordable and both heads swivel and work at once PLUS the base is metal. Try finding that in a local store-the only ones out there are $80+ and most have the handheld showerhead attachment which doesn't work at the same time as the main head. This one came in super speedy shipping with a roll of plumbers tape which was such a nice surprise because I couldn't find mine; great touch of customer service. The showerhead itself is surprisingly easy to move around and switch settings without blasting yourself in the face with water plus the pressure even on the regular setting is great-it still feels like a light massage. I know dual heads use more water BUT for a good wake up morning shower or a neck massage after work...I wouldn't trade it at all.
