This is a good kit overall. I deducted one star because it did not include any information about the included adapters and what size/type of fittings they connect to -- very frustrating! More on this below, but first a few of the good points...The kit includes a nifty tubing cutter (be careful, it's sharp!) and zip ties, which I found very convenient. I used the zip ties (2 per elbow) to suspend the main tubing run from a steel trellis cable running along the center of my tomato/cucumber bed. Those sprayers hang straight down with the ends about 6" above the soil and are spaced 16" apart. My bed is also 16" wide. This spacing is working out well, though I might raise them up a few inches in order to get a bit more overlap in the spray patterns. I also set up a few additional sprayers along the outside edge of another 16" wide planting bed, with the sprayers going up and then arching over to spray into the bed. Those are spaced at about 19" apart, which is pushing it for good coverage. In general, I would say 12"-18" spacing is a good range to use for planning purposes. The push-to-connect system is fantastic, and I love that the tubing/sprayers can be rotated within the fittings. If you are having issues with leaks, check that the tubing is cut straight and is fully seated. This kit includes fittings for a single run, but I was able to purchase additional tees/elbows for my project by searching for 12mm pneumatic push-to-connect fittings on Amazon. (12mm is the outer diameter of the distribution tubing included with this set.) I also bought some 12mm nail-in J-style clamps to attach the distribution tubing to a treated board along the side of my planter. Now, about the adapters and hooking this kit up to a water source. In my application, I'm connecting to a 25 PSI pressure regulator (Rainbird brand) which is in turn connected to a garden hose timer. At first, it appeared that the threaded adapter that came with the kit *might* connect directly to the pressure regulator, which is 3/4" male garden hose thread. However, while you can indeed begin threading it on, it quickly becomes difficult and will not continue to the point of engaging the rubber washer. Trying to force this will inevitably result in major leaks. I just so happened to have a random pipe thread (sorry, I don't know the exact size) to garden hose thread adapter sitting in my extra parts bin -- the pipe thread connected reasonably well with the included threaded adapter (honestly, it was a bit on the loose side, but once the rubber washer was engaged there were no leaks). In summary, I'm connecting the 12mm tubing from this kit to the push-connect side of the threaded adapter that was included with this kit, then I have a second adapter that converts that from pipe thread to garden hose thread, which is then connected to the pressure regulator on the output side of my garden hose timer, which is directly connected to my hose spigot. Clear as mud? :-) Gotta love plumbing.

I have a garden and I wanted a better way to water it than using a sprinkler. I've heard great things about drip irrigation systems, so I decided to give this setup a try.First, I really like the quick connect tees included in this kit. They are super easy to use. I like that the sprayers are bendable and it's easy to adjust the amount of water they're putting out. It was great that a hose cutter was included, along with the needed spigot attachments. All the parts seem well built and I expect this system will last through several seasons of use.Drawbacks, there are only tee connectors, so I'll need to purchase additional connectors if I want something other than a straight line. Spraying water isn't as ideal as dripping water. It would be nice if some clip-in spikes were included to anchor the sprayers to the ground where I wanted them to stay, but I can purchase those. Finally, there weren't any directions at all, but I think this is pretty self explanatory and the pictures in the listing give a pretty good idea of how everything goes together.Overall, I think this is a really well made system and it's definitely usable just the way it is, so I'd recommend it.

I picked this up to simplify watering my garden and ended up liking it so much I bought one to extend it into a second bed. Setup was easy, and once it’s in place, it just works. My tomatoes and peppers are thriving, and I’m not stuck out there dragging a hose around every evening. While I do wish it came with drip emitters instead of the misting style, the fine spray has actually worked out nicely—especially for the lettuce. I’ve just angled the nozzles down toward the soil and it’s been keeping everything evenly moist. We’re still early in the season, but the plants are already shooting up fast. I’ve already had to cage the tomatoes.Super simple assembly. Definitely a useful system if you’re looking for an easier way to keep your beds consistently watered.

This is a comprehensive kit with pretty much everything you'll need, including a hose cutter. I have installed many drip-type lines that use 1/4" tubing, but this kit it a bit different. The most obvious is color. Most kits you buy are black. This has always seemed a bit counterintuitive to me as black absorbs heat, which in turn heats up any water standing in the lines, as well as quickening the degradation of the plastic; many of us cannot water until afternoon and that hot water cannot be great for plants. The gray color will not heat up so quickly, nor perhaps as much. The quality of the plastic used feels a bit beefier, as well. Another thing that I really like are the T-connectors. Instead of having to fit the sprinkler over a barb connection, there is an actual release mechanism so you can easily assemble for use and disassemble your sprinkler at the end of the season, which is a huge bonus. The stems can be bent directionally, which increases water efficiency.I will also note that the sprayer head itself is metal as opposed to plastic. At this point, I am not certain whether that is a plus or not, as I have had metal misters clog. Only time will tell but at this point, I am very pleased with this kit.
