I am glad I found this 'flaky' veneer. This has a similar pattern as an antique secretary desk that I am restoring for a client. The original veneer is broken and peeling off. The original veneer on the drawer fronts was laid out with the figure book matched to form a 'V' and these sheets had a similar pattern.
