Note: Ollny G40 RGBW color-changing lights are not applicable with dimmer switch.
Please avoid light, if you turn on the "Dusk to Dawn" or timers. Otherwise, the dimmer will read regular light as sunlight and can not work normally.
Durable and sturdy PC shell can effectively block rainwater and dust from entering. No worry about bad weather even on rainy, snowy, or stormy days. Great for use with outdoor string lights or landscape lights.

This is an okay controller. It's a quick and dirty option for someone that needs remote control of their LED lights. It's very very light weight and quite cheap feeling out of the box. Not loving that it does not have a ground plug. Functionally it does work and the remote is handy although range is limited. Overall, for 10 bucks it's not bad for someone that needs a quick and simple way to control some low current lights.

Stopped responding to remote and control box after 6 months. Lights stuck on. Tried to unplug and long hold buttons. Using a low voltage led light string. Control box never became warm.

I had it plugged in with the timer and the dimmer with the dimmer part didn’t work cut off, so I went out to change it thank God I went out to change it because it had gotten so hot. It had warped the housing. I reached over to unplug it in a burn my hands so bad I had to go get a hot pad to unplug it. If I wouldn’t have gone out and checked it it would’ve burnt my house down. It was that hot. I’m surprised it didn’t explode. It did been the housing is warped And I only used it one time for about 20 minutes.

Just what we wanted! Comes on at dusk stays on for 2 hours, we put it on dim. Looks great!!

Like that you can dim lights. Easy on / off. Nice that it has a remote. Great functions. Good value.

The features I want:DimmingDimming memory (after power off)Waterproof (resistant) fittings and controllerThe problem is getting everyting to work together on a Kasa system, so having a memory setting is crucial. this way everything goes on and off together, while the dimming levels can be tailored. The Oliny model, for example, just flashes on power restoration, and that's it. I took off a star because there are only 4 dim settings, otherwise this works great.
