This 4K KVM HDMI extender has been a solid solution for extending my display and USB devices over long distances. The picture quality remains crisp at 4K@60Hz, even up to 330 feet, which is impressive. Using CAT6 cables makes the setup straightforward, and the signal stays stable without any noticeable lag. The dual USB ports are a great addition, allowing me to control peripherals like a keyboard and mouse without any issues. My only small suggestion would be a more detailed user manual for first-time setup, but overall, it’s a highly reliable and efficient system for managing long-distance video and control needs.

Acquired this unit in order to connect a TV display and keyboard/mouse in a front office to a security system hidden in the back office. Previously we had run video and USB cables, but given their length, it was an ugly and unreliable hack. This little device replaced all of that with a single CAT6 cable, which was already there! We're very happy with how well it works and now we can watch the cameras again. We did not opt for using it through a switch, but that could be a nice extra benefit seeing that you can get another receiver and end up using it in two places. That is a huge benefit in security systems, etc!

The OREI 4K KVM HDMI Extender is an impressive piece of technology, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. What does it for me is the true plug-and-play functionality; right out of the box, it was incredibly easy to set up with no driver installation required. This made the whole process smooth and hassle-free, which is always a win. This extender does exactly what it promises, and the video quality is outstanding. The low latency ensures that everything runs smoothly, whether I’m working or streaming high-definition content.The KVM feature is also a great addition, allowing me to control my setup remotely with ease using the USB ports for my keyboard and mouse. I appreciate the flexibility of the one-to-many transmission, especially since I can control my PC from multiple locations through an Ethernet network switch. The HDMI loop-out on the transmitter end is another useful feature. The build quality and construction materials are solid, as well.Overall, this is an excellent solution for anyone needing to extend HDMI and USB signals over long distances with high quality and reliability.

This works well, but remember this is not an IP KVM, it does not go through your regular network. You will need a dedicated switch (or VLAN) for this.

The OREI 4K KVM extender was a solution to a problem I didn't realize I have ran into in the past. To be able to enable KVM control over a system spanning a great distance. I've tried to manage such arrangements like at convention center displays, or auditoriums with network based software apps like RealVNC. But there is a lot of latency and limited view due to bandwidth.The OREI system provides a dedicated and isolated low latency KVM control for your remote set up. From consumer entertainment system configurations, to full commercial display presentation set ups...this system simplifies your set up and it's reliable and fast. I can even play most games with it. :)But back to work. I tested this with a 100 ft. shielded outdoor CAT-6 cable to run a presentation display for a seminar with all the computers in a back control room with a keyboard, mouse for the speaker-presenter. No WiFi or wireless dropping out. The system works well. And it's another tool in my toolbox for networking and A/V presentation. Very nice commercial grade product.

I work in gaming, so I'm constantly running several different multimedia devices at one time, and have a need for continuous streaming coverage at a high quality. This OREI HDMI Extender delivers exactly what I need at 4K resolution, without any hiccups. There is no driver installation, making the whole installation process must smoother and user friendly (no matter your tech comfort level). As it's not too big, it can be tucked away and no become an eye-sore (especially if you WFH like I do). With it's incredible KVM additional feature, this extender has proven to be exactly what I need to have continues USB and Ethernet coverage, making the many meetings and tech setups a walk in the (virtual) park!Overall, this is a slam dunk. I love it!

This is an OREI transmitter and receiver that can extend USB and HDMI signals at a long range with full 4K resolution. The transmission is low latency and gives continuous performance. Installation was easy and did not require any driver installation. The extender allows for one-to-many displays and the HDMI loop-out allows for monitoring of my source device. This device will really enhance your multimedia setup and take it to the next level!
