For those of us that are new to coax compression, these PCT connectors have metal "rings" that collapse during compression to grip the cable. That compression needs to happen symmetrically around the connector. Most compression tools have a "U" shaped guide that causes these rings to not collapse properly, leaving it crinkled. This can work fine with any compression tool! Simply start the compression slowly and gently, ROTATING the cable and connector a little bit and compressing a little more each time. I found the "Mid ring" collapses first then I need to finesse the "Outer ring" a bit while rotating. Works great after a few practice runs.Alternatively you can find the expensive PCT tool that supports all the way around the connector: PCT-AIO-CT COMPRESSION TOOL

The PCT-TRS-6 install on RG-6 cable and lock in place so that they do not come off during use.

Maybe good value but not the ideal ends for coax cable. Use other brands in necessary. They kept crimping weird.

Couldn't get them to work. I had to use the ones that came with the cable. Not sure why

As others have stated, one must be very careful as these tend to angle when installing. The Harbor Freight ones were much easier to install before being discontinued.

I had used "crimp on" connectors years ago but when I was installing a couple of HD TV antenna's recently, I was installing enough connectors that buying a compression tool and using these connectors made financial sense. Wow - this is the only way to go. Solid connection, secure installation and professional appearance - I should have done this years ago.

Best ones I've used so far. Solid materials and solid lock on the cables.

I went through many different versions of this connector. These are the only ones I ordered again. These are so advanced, they make all the others look like poor attempts. You do need a special tool, but it's well worth the added expense of about $20. When these are installed, you will have a very professional looking job. The tapered compression seal forms a barrier against the elements. Also, these are very easy to install.

They are well made. The key is making sure you get the right compression tool that is adjustable so it can crimp the connector on the cable properly. I used the Klien Tools VDV 211-048 Compression Tool that had an adjustment setting that was just long enough to provide the room for these connectors. I have four tv's using these connectors and the picture on all of them is very good.

Bought myself a basic RG6 crimping tool and this 10-pack of connectors for a simple DIY home project. These connectors work great. Took me one failed attempt to figure out the right lengths of shielding/conductors to cut/expose. These connectors feel and look like good quality.
