I loved this idea. I’m fairly crafty and do things like this often. I thought it would be a fun gift idea for my mom for her bday (which is around Halloween) that my daughter and I could make for her. Nope. The small pieces turned out fine but when it came to the actual house I ended up quitting-it wouldn’t iron and stay, I couldn’t even get it in big enough pieces to glue (which has worked with some of the smaller parts). Waste of time, energy, and money.

I really enjoyed this. I wish Perler made more 3D Halloween projects.

I bought this after my daughter completed a small house made of Perler Beads and showed interest in the craft.Pros:-The haunted house has nice colors and a good design.Cons:-The pattern is flawed. I would have made a mistake had I not read the review that mentioned that some of the holes and links in the written pattern are incorrect. As of September 2023, this is true and has not been fixed.-Perler beads link well on a 90-degree area (such as the house's corners), but they do not fit well in slots and will not hold no matter how perfectly you iron the spaces and connecting beads. The roof worked well. The house on the grass base did not. The house would slide up. Pieces that were meant to be hung on the wall of the house also had a low success rate.-There is so little room for error when ironing the holes, and yet you'll find yourself ironing too much because those little linking bits on the side require extra attention so they don't chip off when you shove them together.-When you iron large pieces, like the sides of the house, there is a small dip in the middle of the two connecting Perler pegboards, and this will also cause you to have to over iron in that area, sometimes melting the nearby beads more than you want.Overall: My seven year old became bored and quit. I don't usually quit crafts, but I quit this one. My haunted house turned out okay, but I didn't add all the extras to it. Even though all those look great in the picture, in reality they should have just designed the haunted house with a flat front door and left it at that.Would not recommend. I'll use my remaining beads for something less tiresome.

I bought this for my teen daughter and she used a lot of time and skill to make all the pieces. It’s an amazing project. Very time consuming and a lot of ironing and she had to use the glue gun to finish the pieces together to keep them from falling apart. Very impressive pattern.
