We used these feathers to make "crowns' for Carnaval -- ie, mardi gras but in south america. They were very plentiful, and they stood up nice and tall, and put up with handling and gluing. Everyone loved them!

Beautiful feathers. I hoped they had a longer length in the brunch, but they didn't. I was able to work with what I had.

Looking at the photo, I thought that this was a combination of peacock tail feathers and sword feathers, but I didn't look very closely because they are peacock tail feathers and rooster tail feathers. Oh, well; they are still nice feathers! They appear to be in good condition; no dirt of damage, and no signs of insect contamination (I've gotten moths in feather orders before, not fun!) The rooster tail feathers are black with some iridescence. The peacock feathers are typical "eye" pattern peacock feathers; not too long, not too short. They look lovely!
