There were no dimensions provided, but I picked this up anyway as it was a great price.actual dimensions: 2 x 7 3/16 x .11 (sorry for mixing fractions and metric - my caliper only goes to 6 inches)I was shocked when it arrived...it is thick! For reference, the blade on my Wards Master blade is 0.08 inches thick. This blade is .11 inches thick! If you have a plane wide enough, this extra thickness will reduce chatter. It is too wide for my Wards Master (which uses a 1.72" wide blade), at 2 inches and it is slightly longer, at not quite 7 1/4 (though the length would not have been an issue). Note that the keyhole position is at the top of this blade with the slot running down toward the cutting edge. This is the reverse of my Wards Master where the key hole is closest to the cutting edge with the slot running up toward the top.While this blade is too wide to fit my plane, but there are many uses for a good solid blade like this (like cutting dowels), especially at this price point, so I am happy with my purchase. It may even be worth making a plane to fit!Be aware that the packaging was dangerous if you have kids that might pick up deliveries. My blade came in nothing but a thin plastic bag that had not surprisingly been cut through, and that was sent in nothing more than a plastic bubble envelope. I had to take a point off because of the dangerous packaging. Then the more I thought about it, I had to take off a second point because a sharp blade floating through the shipping process with nothing to guard the edge was just too egregious.

Nice blade, but dull -thus the 4 stars. The blade is quality. The bevel is ground nice, but as said before, it will need a honed edge before it can be used, which isn't that big a deal, thus 4 stars and not 5.
