OK, it's pretty dishonest to call it a "portable air conditioner", but it is a nice little cooling device for a low price. It's an ice fan, not an air conditioner. It will not cool a room you are in, and will not cool you if you are several feet away from it. However, if you have it right by you (on your desk, or on your bedstand, or beside you on the porch...), it will blow a nice, cool stream of air on you. You will need to have it less than two feet away from you, blowing right on you. I live in an extremely humid area where evaporative coolers do not work-- but this ice fan works! It makes the difference between being miserable and being OK. With two ice blocks, you can change them out, but it would be nice to be able to buy a couple more since it takes awhile to freeze water.

Just terrible! Stays cool for maybe 35 minutes. Very cheaply made.

Team, this is a box with a PC fan and a slot. The slot is for the ice pack to sit in and the PC fan blows the ice pack cooled air out. Also, it comes with a USB cable, but not an adapter plug. This thing is BARE MINIMUM serviceable. The ice pack lasts for variable amounts of time. That said, while the ice pack is cold, you'll get cool air. Update: the ice pack melts too fast, it's not even an hour of cool air and the hassle of switching them out is too much. Also, the condensation in the slot WILL spill out of the front of the box with little effort. Maybe one day something like this can be ..... cool.

IT'S BROKEN!! I was going to use this tomorrow while I sit out in 98 degree heat with a liter of kittens I'm trying to find homes for, but it's broken so the babies and I will have to suffer through.
