I can see how this should be very useful for camping and similar activities. It's very light and with the hook it would be easy to hang inside a tent. With a dial for lighting and makes it very easy to adjust the lighting how you need.When I went camping when I was little we had a Coleman lamp. The sound of that lamp brings back memories. It also had a knob where you can make miniscule adjustments to the brightness and that was important as day turned to night.It is very bright when you need it to be.I was drawn to this for the fire flickering effect. When I've been on social media lately I've been noticing a lot of people commenting about how nice it is to curl up with a book next to a fire - something I have done before and enjoyed but something I cannot do now.I enjoy setting this to the fire effect and reading my Kindle. Not exactly the same but close enough.And yes I could probably find something on YouTube for a similar effect but I like having long lasting rechargeable lights for in case of emergencies and also the power does go off in my area periodically so it's always good to have a backup light. Flashlights are great but these sorts of rechargeable lamps are better for general functioning when the lights are out.
