Installation:
a. Just wired the two wire to the ring doorbell and plugged the power transformer into the nearest outlet.
b. Once hooked up to your Ring Doorbell, you can see the ring around the doorbell button illuminate white which signifies that the adapter is providing power to the doorbell. Also, you can use the app on your phone that shows you that is hardwired and not running off battery power.

Note: Keep in mind that this power adapter is not meant to charge your battery in the Ring Doorbell (at least not a fast charge), but it does slowly charge the battery.

Like how it keeps the battery charged, easy too install.It seems too be a trickle charger, that being said I changed the battery fully then attached the charger an after a month the battery is still at 100%

Ordered the first power adapter and it worked for about 3 months before it died. Ordered a second and it was dead on arrival. Not surprised because the box it was packaged in was dented and looked like it was a return. Would strongly advise against using this manufacture's product.

It was very simple and easy to install. It has a clean look and works wonderfully with my video doorbell, my only complaint was it did not come with any cable fasteners to tack the cable up and out of the way.

I didn't have a front doorbell, so this was a much better option than running new wire. Drilled a hole on the outside wall and snaked the adapter wire from the outlet on the inside of the house. You don't have to worry about using the resistor that comes with any of those video doorbells, you don't have to worry about using those splice caps either. This was a much easier application. JUST BE SURE TO TURN THE POWER OFF TO THE INSIDE WALL OUTLET before you begin installation. Not that I didn't think about that.
