I use Moca for my network and I need to make sure that the moca data is not being leaked back into the cable network. Without this device, others that are not part of my network may be able to monitor activity on my network and possibly get passwords and other login information. This device will filter out the Moca data and helps keep your network secure from prying eyes. This product is easily installed and filters out the moca information. There is no setup after installation - just plug and play. It is always good to have these on hand to make sure you stay online incase a filter goes bad. This product is in my network and I use it on a daily basis whenever I'm online.

Your cable company should have installed these, but sometimes they don't. Instead of chasing them down, you can install these where the cable service comes into your house. These filters will keep the MoCA signals from your MoCA devices and extenders from leaking out to your neighbors where they might be able to connect to devices in your home.Have a set handy. Sometimes they go bad, or you want to isolate a section of cable in the house from the rest. These are well made, install easily, and definitely block the MoCA signals.
