It worked absolutely amazing for the first few months and now I'm having clogging issues but I think it's due to the sediment in my water and not the product itself. He has to take it apart about once every couple of weeks and clean it but it's pretty easy to clean definitely softens the water down and works as it should and has excellent pressure.

I’ve been using the PRIMALS Filtered Shower Head for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed with how much it’s helped my skin and hair. If you deal with dry, itchy skin, dandruff, or even hair loss, this thing really makes a difference.The biggest selling point for me is the filtration system. It removes chlorine, fluoride, heavy metals, and other chemicals from the water, which makes a noticeable impact. My skin has been less dry and irritated, and I’ve had fewer eczema flare-ups. I am really impressed with this shower head! It has excellent water pressure, and rinses out my shampoo faster than I ever thought! Some cons: only one spray pattern option, it has an odd, steady drip out the bottom edge, (NOT from the connection to pipe) and it has a weird way of making the water temperature around the outer spray area feel cooler, sort of like a high-powered mister or something. Also, disappointed product doesn’t have replacement/refill cartridge order info included, or recommendations on WHEN it should be replaced. It would be very helpful if they included a convenient filter refill QR code to scan or something…Do they even MAKE replacement filters for this?Otherwise, definitely a great product, but I personally think $99 is a bit overpriced.**UPDATE 3/1/2025**As very briefly mentioned above in initial review above, I had noticed a water temperature difference…Well, it got progressively worse to the point that I was turning off the water during showers when soaping/shampooing, to conserve the warm water (note: it never was able to get very hot at all) so I wouldn’t end up freezing. I will note here also that our water heater had taken us WELL beyond its expected lifespan, and I sort of chalked it up to needing to replace it. So, many cold showers were taken while waiting for the new water heater. Then our plumber came to install it-$1800 later! Wow, was I excited to take a consistently warm shower, AND get to shave my legs-FINALLY!Yep, you guessed it, same thing happened. Only got through one leg shaving and I was freezing. WTH?! This can’t be happening, right?! Went downstairs where my hubby mentioned while washing dishes, he TOO had run out of cold water .So, a weekend call to our plumber had him flabbergasted. We should get 50 gallons of hot water before it gets cold! And so, I went to the thrift store where I bought a cheap new shower head and installed it, just to see…I bet you can guess where I’m going with this review? Yes, indeed, I ran the shower on the hottest temp possible for 10 minutes, then went to kitchen to run the tap there, and when I returned to bathroom, there was condensation dripping down the walls and the mirrors were fogged. I really would be so angry (instead I just feel sort of dumb) that we had spent $1800 (installed) on a new water heater had we not anticipated the end of its lifespan in the near future anyways... But who knows! Perhaps we could’ve gotten MORE years out of it yet? It certainly was an expense we could not afford at this point… What an absolute HASSLE! Beware…

Got this a few weeks ago, and I can already see the difference. I learned about all of the nasty stuff in our public water systems like chlorine, heavy metals, etc and knew it was affecting my skin. I used to have itchy skin every time I showered but once I made the switch to this primals filtered shower head, my skin and hair have both improved big time. So glad I found this product, I’m buying one for my parents as well.
