About this item

  • Silk
  • Made in the USA
  • Mulberry Silk
  • Flawless Fabric - Crafted from lustrous mulberry silk, our glove liners glide over skin with a smooth softness that feels simply divine. Flowing with each movement, the silk conforms naturally to every contour of your hand, ensuring a snug fit
  • Sensitive or Dry skin? - Botanical proteins found in silken fibres provide natural hydration whilst also being hypoallergenic
  • When to Wear - On chilly days, wear them as a smoothing base layer under winter gloves to insulate against the cold. The snug fit encourages circulation, keeping fingers comfortably warm. Or don solo on temperate days, letting the silk liners pamper your hands with their delicate softness
  • How Durable Are They? - Though soft and lightweight, our silk glove liners are remarkably durable. That being said, these liners are ultra-thin, so we strongly recommend avoiding handling any rough surfaces while wearing them
  • How to Wash & Care - Hand or machine wash in cool water with a gentle detergent, then lay flat or hang to dry

The silk liners fit great under gloves and mittens

These are not silk. I have owned things made of mulberry silk: scarves, pillowcases, scrunchies etc. These are not silk. Not only are they not silk, but they are incredibly porous, so I doubt they would be useful in any other capacity i.e. to provide warmth or to protect from exposure to something. Maybe as part of a theatrical costume or a halloween costume?

This set of silk gloves is truly comfortable. These can be used by any gender. The gloves make is so much easier to put on and take off thicker wool or thermal gloves or mittens. The silk makes the outer gloves just slide off instead of the fingers turning inside out. The silk gloves fit nicely. The fingers have enough give to make them comfortable, like a second skin. The gloves fit without binding fingers, and I can take off the thicker winter outer gloves I have, and the silk gloves still protect my hands when I need finer motor skills. I also like that I can dry my gloves overnight and have a backup pair. I like these gloves and would happily order them again.

These silk glove liners are very nice, smooth and silk. Their natural properties make even my thin leather dress gloves warm enough to brave the cold a bit. I was pleasantly surprised that the small really was small and fit my small hands perfectly. Even the fingers weren’t too long. The inclusion of their own washing bag was a classy act by the seller.I highly recommend.

I’m going on an extended 6 month backcountry trip to the mountains, and I’ve done this before (it’s for a non-profit that I’ve worked and volunteered for before), and I’ll be working and hiking a lot outside, and living in wood-fired stoved heated sleeping arrangements. The last time I was there, my hands were always freezing, and the work gloves they have for staff and volunteers are always old, stiff, dirty, and way too big on me. I have invested in a bunch of work gloves and snow/cold weather gloves in my size, but I ordered these liners to see if they would help.Firstly, they are SO soft and fit perfectly. They do add warmth, but they’re still thin enough to layer under the rest of my thicker gloves.Something I didn’t anticipate, which is awesome, is that they protected a healing scab from a large cut that I have on my hand from getting snagged or irritated by the inner parts of my work gloves. The scab is still healing and sore and I don’t have a bandaid on it anymore, but the gloves added silky-soft padding that made me forget it existed. I’m SO excited to layer these under my work gloves when I have blisters or irritated hands from the dry and cold to make me more comfortable doing physical outdoor work.Bonus: The wash bag is great. I won’t have a dresser for six months, and again, I’ve done this before. All of my clothes are packed in separate roll-up dry bags (thermal shirts in one, snow pants in another, etc). And then I have a compression laundry bag (we do have one washer/dryer at base camp), and I can use these when needed, and pop them when they’re dirty into the wash bag and keep them separate in my larger laundry bag.I definitely recommend these if you have to wear thick, leather work gloves in the winter, or other work gloves that don’t have an inner liner. Extra padding, warmth, protection, and these will work great to pad any blisters or scrapes, and possibly prevent more.
