After a couple of uses I was impressed and hoped the Quik-Lok pedal would last longer than my Boss FV 50-L that lasted less than a year. The Quik-Lok I bought in May 2022 just fell apart this weekend...a worse performer than the Boss FV-50-L (6 months.) Can't these companies make a sturdy simple volume control? I opened up the Quik Lok pedal and found that the volume potentiometer fell out of its clamp... the clamp that holds it broke, hence the failure. And you can't attach it again. Junk. Now I need to search for a decent pedal.

The pedal stopped working after 8 months and manufacturer customer service would not respond to inquiries.

Plastic pedal is scratchy, jumpy, crackles with the toe down, jumps volume early in the motion. But... you get what you pay for. A good, visible, master volume!

The pedal is well-built for the price. Unfortunately, the taper renders it useless. About 90% (or more) of the volume change takes place over less than 5% of the pedal travel (at about 75% position toward the toe), leading me to believe that the pots used are linear and not logarithmic. If you wish to perform quick swells, it might be good for you. If you want to control volume, forget it. The volume jump near 75% is extremely large and abrupt. This is, without a doubt, the most uneven taper I have ever heard on any volume pedal. I am returning it.

The pedal works as advertised with a contour adjustment. The unit is quiet although the volume is not especially smooth, it works great and is well worth the cost and is much less than other 'brand name' volume pedals
