Great for my 6 year old. He’s about 55-60lb and they fit him very well. The material is great too.I bought some $19.99 pants from DicksSporting Goods and even though I bought the same SMALL size the ones from Rawlings were a perfect fit while the $19.99 ones were too small. I returned those to the store and ordered a second pair on her for my son.

Ordered these for my 6 year old and they fit too big. Also if you look closely the legs are different colors. Not too noticeable but one side seems darker/purpleish than the other side

Got 2 pair of these for my son as practice pants for football. The league provides pants, but I hate dealing with putting the pads in and taking them out. These integrated pants have been great for him! They fit great, have been durable (through multiple uses and washings) and provide good, stationary protection. The pants he was provided have been around a while and the pockets for the pads don't hold the pads in securely.For sizing reference, my son is 10yo, around 54" tall and about 75 lbs. and I purchased these in large. They do stretch so he would have room to grow and this size could definitely be worn by heavier kids.My one negative (and doesn't affect my rating since they are practice pants) is the color. While the pants I ordered are called "dark green", they are closer to a kelly green than a forest green. So he couldn't wear them for games. But that's an insignificant issue for me.

My son loves these pants! I only gave it 4 stars simply because he has only worn them once and I have only washed them once but he says they are really comfortable! He is 11 years old and 5' 1". Almost 5' 2". He weighs from 102-105, consistently! I only say this because I would have liked to have had the sizes of some other kids before I bought them so I ended up getting both XL and L and now we have to send the L back. They are just too tight! We got the dark green ones for his team color and they are really shiny and pretty! lol

Ordered these for my 9 year old, the hip and knee padding especially were so thin and flimsy I can't imagine how they would provide any protection. I'm sending them back immediately.

My son is very picky, but he loves these pants. The pads DON'T move, which was a problem with his previous pants.They are very true to size, so don't buy them big expecting him to grow into them. Buy them for the size he is now, or he will be uncomfortable.They wash and wear great!My son wishes he could use these as his game pants and not just his practice pants! Thank you, Rawlings, for making a superior product!

Please make sure you know what size to order. I have never bought football pants before and I ordered a Youth Large for my son. I was shocked when the item arrived and it looked like it should fit a five-year-old! It was funny watching my 95-lb preteen son try to get them past his knees, but I'd rather have skipped the laughs and saved the money and time it took to return them. On a positive note, they did look like sturdy, well-constructed pants. Just got the sizing WAY wrong... don't make the same mistake!

These youth integrated football pants are great. Hold up very well through many football practices and washings. I wash normally and let them line dry over night. The pants are dry by practice time. I did notice these run a little on the small size, so I would suggest ordering one size larger. My little boy's football team had used this brand the year before as league issued pants so I knew going into this order that this brand ran a little small.
