Glove is excellent! It is very soft and mostly broken in upon arrival. It seems to be very well made and was usable almost immediately!

This glove has a nice deep pocket great for anyone with smaller hands or someone looking to have more control of their glove, thinking of the 12.5 model now.

My daughter is pretty stubborn when it comes to her glove. This one is indeed game ready. Very minimal to condition. Will keep you posted once we start using it. Been raining in California. So far so good. Idk how long with it last.

I am a huge fan of Rawlings gloves. My daughter plays for an elite 14U travel team. I watched too many girls buy equal or higher price Wilson gloves over the years, and I always noticed that they took FOREVER to break in. Even after broken in, they just don't seem as sticky as Rawlings gloves. No matter which Rawlings glove I have bought for her or I, the leather always seemed higher quality than Wilson and broke in much quicker (just my two cents). This is the most expensive glove I have ever bought for her, not because I am cheap, but because I do not believe that the glove makes the player. It doesn't matter though because this glove is the bomb. My daughter was able to break it in good enough after applying Wilson Premium Glove Oil (the best as far as my daughter and I are concerned) and a few days of some tough love ( I helped). She used it during a practice and noticed an immediate difference over her last glove (one level down). The pocket is nice and deep for a 12" softball, and the leather is malleable enough after a few days of breaking in for a 12 year old to be able to squeeze the ball adequately. The bottom line is that this is a great glove for the price, and it has boosted her confidence on defense.
