Well. It kinda fits. lol. It keeps the battery from being exposed. But it doesn’t actually fit. So it’s a no Nikon perfect fit.

Could pass for OEM. I wouldn't doubt that Nikon buys these from China anyway. I purchased a used Nikon D800 off of EBay and it was missing this cover. So who is to say that it was not originally part of this camera.

Perfect fit for my Nikon D800. The cover fits nice a snug, just like the OEM one that was lost.

This item did not fit the Nikon D850 as claimed. I purchased this item to replace a lost silicone plug. The item didn’t even resemble the shape of a D850.

Fit is a little buckled but it does lock into the grove. It's just a little wavey. Not sure this won't settle out to a more flat fit eventually. However, it does fit in the grooves and I feel like the port is protected. My concern is putting this on the latched tripod and the waviness of the cover. Have not tried that yet.Better than the electrician's tape I was using and I may put some electricians tape over this cover to make it super flat.
