This is nearly identical to the original, at a much better price!It charges well on the Ego charger. The performance is good, nothing noticeable out of the ordinary on my 3 Ego tools (string trimmer, blower, hedge trimmer) I did not try on the mower because I know that the capacity is too small.It feels a bit lighter in weight than the original. The overall quality may take some time to show, but as of now, I am very happy!

I had high hopes for this but as soon as I put it on my blower the blower comes on for a split second and then stops. Nothing I can do can get it to work in the blower. I can take this battery off and put in a legit Ego battery and it works fine. I also tried it in my weed eater and it worked, but I could tell a difference in power. It worked fine but especially when edging it didn't do as good cutting through the dirt and thick grass.Charging was fine and it charges right up and has had several charging cycles with no issues.

I have 2 EGO electric tools—a leaf blower and a string trimmer. It’s always a good idea to have a spare battery, so I gave this a try.Out of the box it was nearly identical to the OEM batteries I have. The built-in charge indicator showed a full charge, but I put it on the charger just to be sure. It did accept more charge and took about 15-20 minutes on the charger to max out.I immediately put this thing to the test. I have a 30-foot round pool with a large bank circling about half of the pool. That bank, when it hasn’t been trimmed regularly, along with the remainder of the trimming around the rest of the deck, will often deplete a battery. I was able to get all of the pool area trimmed, as well as quite a bit of additional trimming around the house, sidewalks, flower beds, and some of the trees. It didn’t last long enough to get all of the trimming done (I have an acre full of trees and shrubs, a shed, etc.), but neither of my OEM batteries would last through all of it. I’d say I was fairly surprised with how long the charge lasted.

I have an Ego leaf blower and battery powered lawnmower but I only have one battery for each so if I am out doing a lot of yard work for an extended period of time one of the batteries will almost always lose its charge so it will be great to have a spare battery.This battery is not a name brand Ego battery but it looks just like the original, it even has the battery indicator in the front and the colors are very similar, who knows, maybe this is the OEM replacement. This is a 56 V, 2.5Ah battery and it does fit and operates my leaf blower just fine although I have to admit I didn’t test the battery longevity time. I believe I need a 5Ah, 56V to operate the lawnmower which is in Florida so I couldn’t test it out.An original Ego battery is close to $150, this replacement is just $89 and so far it operates my blower without.a problem so I am not complaining. I am just happy to have a spare.

This is a smaller EGO compatible battery (2.5AH) at a very good price. It has all the features of an OEM battery and is light weight due to its size. I took one star off due to the case feeling more "plasticky" than an EGO brand battery but the case doesn't feel cheap. I will need to use it for a while to evaluate it's durability over time. So far I'm happy with it.

I put this into both a mower and a blower running on turbo. The battery didn't cut out or overheat. I also did a capacity test and it came up a little over 2.1Ah testing at constant current of 1.7 amp and down to 45V. I would say testing at a lower power draw and to a lower voltage, it would be 2.5Ah. This battery does have the 5 led ring capacity gauge similar to the newer ego batteries. The battery itself doesn't have all the rubber protection like an oem one does, but then again, I don't bump and drop my batteries either.
