OpenMV RS485 Shield

OpenMV RS485 Shield

The RS485 shield allows your OpenMV to communicate with other devices via the RS485 protocol.

This shield has automatic transceiver function, does not need read and write control, only needs TX and RX pins, and can be programmed directly using OpenMV's built-in pyb.UART class.

OpenMV RS485 Shield

The DB9 connector on the shield uses the common pin distribution of Siemens, which can be directly connected to the PLC of Siemens through cables.

The program of the ModBus slave is used on OpenMV, and the program of the ModBus host is used on the PLC.

There is a 24V to 5V regulator on the board, which can be used to power OpenMV through the connector.
