Great raincoat. It's durable, long + it doesn't make me sweat like some raincoats can. It's long and has two extra-large front pockets that flap over to keep out rain.I've been using it for a couple of weeks, and it's been working well for me. I wore it while walking dogs in the rain and didn't get wet at all. It's great for when it's raining, but it's also perfect as a windbreaker on a windy day, no matter what you're wearing. It'll keep whatever you've got under it nice and dry. And when you're not using it, it's super light and easy to stow. The price is good.

This high visibility duster style rain jacket is long and roomy. I’m 5’3” and the hem lands between my calf and ankle. The hood zips into the collar but easily fits over a ball cap or a winter knit hat. It has an adjustment string to bring it tighter against my face. The pocket opening is covered but I think the covers could go another ½” to 1” over the opening to ensure less water flow into the pocket, if the pockets are stuffed. The wrist elastic is not too tight but flexible and comfortable. The sleeves go past the wrist elastic almost to the end of my hands so I can roll up the sleeps or leave them long and I will still not get water running up the open sleeve. The open sleeves have snaps to make them smaller. This comes with a case for storage. I really like this jacket but just like a lot of new plastic products, it stinks like fish. Don’t be turned off by the odor because this is a nice rain jacket and just needs to be aired out to not stink. It’s a good price to pay for an extra layer of safety.

I like the length of the jacket. I like that the sleeves have an elastic fitting around the wrist which stops water intrusion while moving your arms around and holds the sleeves in place.I am a bigger dude so I got the 4XL. It is very snug, so go up a size or 2 from what you normally wear. The pockets, if you can call them that, are very small and do not secure. If you bend over, things can fall out easily. Also, the flaps are tiny and I doubt they will stop much more than rain runoff. The reflective parts are very subdued and not as reflective as I had hoped.

My partner always worries about me because every day I ride my bicycle at least 10 miles. 365 days a year. Through snow, sleet, rain, whatever. Our climate is changing fast here, it rains a lot more than it used to, and when it rains it is overcast and cloudy. On gray days the visibility is poor. Plus there are so many motorists who are not paying attention, They are texting, talking on cell phones, and they will drive right past me and be oblivious to my presence. I have fluorescent material on my knapsack but I needed something more for the rainy, gray days. This coat is just the thing I needed. I got the yellow fluorescent material on the coat and it is really bright. I also ordered it a size larger than I wear and that was a good move, it fits well, a bit baggy, which is my preference. I need to have the coat billow out a bit so I can pedal without restricting my leg movements. When I got it I thought: I wish it had a hood. Then I realized that it does have a hood, it was buttoned up under the collar in its own compartment and is still attached to the coat. So I am really pleased with this coat. Just what I needed.I have one slight complaint: when I opened the package and unpacked the raincoat it had a peculiar odor. I assume it was some scent related to the raincoat material? I plan to air it out for a while and I expect the odor will dissipate. It wasn't an overpowering aroma but it was definitely noticeable.

This raincoat looks just like the ones the firefighters wear. Unlike my other rain wear, I like that this is long for maximum protection. There's nothing worse than getting caught in a heavy shower, with just a short jacket that leaves half of your body uncovered. This one keeps the water off from top to bottom and easily fits over my entire outfit, even if I'm wearing a bulky sweater. The zipper goes all the way up to my chin and with the hood and tapered sleeves, the water doesn't get in even when it's windy and raining sideways. The large pockets are big enough for my phone, wallet, and keys, with closing flaps that keep the pocket interior from getting wet.The coat material is made out of a basket weave that's both durable and breathable.Even though I chose the black coat rather than yellow, the stripes on the coat are reflective and allow me to stand out at night, making me visible to unwary drivers. The coat comes folded into a matching pouch that keeps it flat and compact. It's a perfect fit for the emergency car kit or in the suitcase when I travel. This is perfect for people who have to work outside, exposed to the elements. Although the coat is lightweight, it's not the type of jacket that would be comfortable for casual (dry) wear. It's far more effective than a rain poncho, but offers less mobility. It's a bit stiff and stuffy, even though the material is meshy and not smothering plastic, it's not an airy windbreaker. It has a more dedicated use. It's not for everyday walking and errands, but it's a lifesaver during a sudden downpour.

What I expected from the price point. No rips or obvious manufacturing problems upon initial inspection. Haven't been able to take this out in the rain yet but it's made from the same material most of those $20 ponchos are made of that also work good.I'm a pretty fat dude and I usually wear 2XL in carhartt shirts but I was not optimistic about the sizing here so I ordered a 4XL and it fits how I would expect. Could easily wear a hoodie under this and it would still fit well. One thing I am NOT a fan of is the double zipper. You have to really do it perfectly or it just won't zip properly. Would have preferred a single standard zip. The upside is the buttons are pretty well spaced so if you had to deploy this in a pinch it wouldn't be a detriment to leave it unzipped.
