This unit is difficult to install as well as it doesn't cover the full keypad nor seal to the door to prevent water from getting into and freezing.

I have installed five of these covers on a commercial building in our downtown. They last about one or two months before the plastic cover breaks at the hindge and needs to be replaced. The installation is straightforward and quick, but I need to find an alternative that has more robust materials - particularly at the hindge.

Perfect to protect my digital lock I installed on my front gate. Because it’s not installed under an awning I was worried the lock mechanism would get wait and weathered and this has protected it perfectly! I installed this in just a few minutes, very simple!

I'm using this on a Kwikset 912 lock mounted to a gate. The "inside" portion of the lock is also outside (because it's a gate). I wanted to cover this side from the rain as it contains the circuit board, the battery pack and the Z-wave ratio. Fits great for this application and doesn't look too bad doing it.
