There are limited options for SawStop Jobsite Pro saws when you need to use a Dado blade. SO it’s a bit pricey, virtually never discounted, but it works. It is less robust than the standard blade insert. No Jase complaining, you need this and it’s the only one available.

wouldn't buy. it is made of plastic. super light weight. it blew out of my saw. luckily it didn't hit anyone. would not recommend to anyone to buy

Still made out of a thin plastic (looks like a fiber reinforced material), with reinforcing ribs underneath. I would have preferred it to be made from heavyweight phenolic, but this should work fine.There’s a question about using this insert for standard blades as a lower cost alternative to the phenolic one. Don’t. It blocks the riving knife attachment slot and without it (and the blade guard) the saw is much more dangerous. You own a SawStop because of the safety features and it makes no sense to sacrifice one to save a few dollars…

I bought this three years ago when I bought my Sawstop table saw and have finally had the occasion to use it. As happy as I am with my table saw, this was a complete disappointment. Embarrassed that Sawstop would allow their name on it. Flimsy plastic that flexes. If you have a work piece smaller than the throat of your saw (smaller than the insert) you get an uneven cutting depth because the plastic flexes down for a deeper cut

Ok, as far as I know this is only guard for this type of saw. But it is sturdy and does the job.
