After reading more reviews, I found that there is allegedly a way to reset it, but the instructions don't tell you how to reset the device. Do not purchase!

I really like how easy it is the use with my olympus pt-059.Update: I took this on a total of about 10 dives and on the last one it quit working so I packed it and didn't dive with it again. I just happen to look at it to practice mt photography for my up coming dive trip and noticed the front of the strobe was flooded so I took the front apart to see if I could get the water our. So it was salt water that got in it and everything was rusted and ruined. I would not recommend this strobe.
